Tip back a pint! True German charm is evident everywhere in the Bierstube One-Day Musical Cuckoo Clock. Made in Germany from Black Forest linden wood this clock gives you authentic Alpine style. The entertaining characters on this clock are enhanced by various hand-carved wooden details that form visual depth. Hand-painted color on many of the elements lends a unique appeal. Twice an hour the pub patron merrily lifts his glass while the dancers above perform. The wooden water wheel also moves and of course the cuckoo bird makes an appearance to announce the time. Directly beneath the stage is the wooden clock face which features stylized Roman numerals and scrolled hands to keep with the theme. The clock operates via gears of exceptional quality that keep impeccable time. Pull down the decorative pine cones to start the clock on its daily cycle. A nighttime shut-off switch silences the music and sound for peaceful rest. Note: Clock alternately plays Edelweiss and The Happy Wanderer on the hour and half-hour.
